last tuesday was garrett's first 'off-site class'....they can't call it a field trip for legal reasons. anywho, here is a pictorial rundwon of the big event!

feel the burn (bad joke, I know)

ok so it's been a stressful 24 hours, and i must find some humor in this whole thing.

y'all know the story, parker, burnt his hand on the glass door to a wood burning stove. a gazillion doctors, 3 hospitals and 24 hours later, we're home. there is almost certinly no permanent damage, and scarring should be minimal. we're on bandage/dressing duty for the next week till they re-evaluate. here are some pics i snapped of the patient and the surroundings at harborview (more on *THAT* place later, lol!)

ok so there are not to many people out there that might know what the heck that first pic is. but if you've seen parker in action, then you're in the know!

yes, he's our little butt-scooter. he can crawl, but he chooses not to. i think he thinks it's beneath him (lol, funny). but hey, it gets him from point a to point b....and if he has to ruin the seat of a few pairs of pants, well that's just the way it has to be!

i guess we (and him in his teen-age years) should be thankful no one has started calling him 'scooter'.
